Local Food Research Initiative Looking for Qualified InternsLFRI seeks a smart, responsible, and hard working individual to intern on a small research farm located in Newtown, CT.  The ideal candidate is internet and tech savvy, creative, but also likes to get their hands dirty. The person will work directly with the President, and often independently on tasks including: planting, transferring, crop maintenance, harvesting, inventory, electronically documenting crop growth and producing marketing and promotional materials.

Additional tasks are dependent on knowledge and experience, and unique skills and talents will certainly be appreciated. Availability is flexible but must be local to Newtown or a surrounding town and have own transportation.

This is an excellent opportunity for a student seeking a challenging and practical internship. Become experienced with greenhouse technologies and promote and market a non-profit entity!
